Description of Services

All dog walks/visits include playtime, fresh water/food, bathroom, walk, any needed medication, belly rubs, lots of love, any other request for your home or your pet.

Drop-in visits are a quick break for your dog to get up and play a little bit and to take care of business.

Post-op, special needs or disabled animal care visits generally last about an hour. One of my true passions is working with disabled or special needs dogs. I know how challenging and disrupting it can make your life to have one these special dogs, so I strive to help make your life a little easier. A special-needs visit can include anything from a drop in when you aren’t there and letting your dog relieve itself or stretch, changing out bandages, giving medications, a cart walk, muscular exercises or touch. This visit could also be me coming over and helping you while you’re at home with the dog and showing you how to do things with special needs dogs to help make it manageable. Please do not hesitate to call me if you are in a tough situation. I am here to help.

The DogMa adventure is a great way to get your dog thoroughly worn out! These are preplanned trips to the dog park or great hiking spots or maybe a perfect watering hole. Your dog must be super-socialized and work well off-leash. These trips can last from one to four hours.

Overnight stays are a great way to avoid taking your pet to be boarded at a clinic or noisy daycare. Your dog will be much more relaxed in his own home. Overnight stays include a sitter being at your home from 9pm (at the latest) until 8am. This will also include giving your house the look that someone is there. We will bring in mail, take out trash/recycling, water plants, etc. Any day visits that are requested will be given at a discounted rate. I am insured through Pet Sitters International and when I am pet sitting I always treat your home as if it’s mine. Overnight stays also include ‘check ins’ and this is a time that you can call to check in on your pet and see how things are going.

The training sessions are done in your home or ‘out in the real world.’ I take a very personal approach with my training and will first set up a consult with you and your dog. This consult will allow me to understand exactly what you are looking to accomplish through training. After the consult I will spend some time tailoring a plan that addresses your concerns and that will help to accomplish your training goals. I am certified through Animal Behavior College and practice only positive, reward based methods. Through my research and study of the different training methods, I have found that these techniques give lasting results and also strengthen the bond between you and your dog.
